Bhatkal: Anjuman Institute of Management and Computer Application (AIMCA), observed its 21st Annual day celebrations, here at College Function hall, Bhatkal on 25th April, Tuesday.
Toppers from each class whilch includes Ms. Qurratul Ain M S Shaikh from BBA 5th Semester, Ms. Maryam Hira M I Ekkeri from 3rd Semester, Ms. Qadri Farzeen M Iqbal from 1st Semester, Ms. Ramla M A Kochebapu from BCA 5th Semester, Ms. Gule Mehek M M Kazia from 3rd Semester and Mr. Farhan M Sukri from 1st Semester were awarded for their excellent academic performance by Prof. Talooth Muallim.
Accordingly, the sports prizes were distributed by Physical Director Mr. Mohan Mesta.Many other prizes were distibuted by Prof. Talooth Muallim and Prof. Nazeer Ahmed such as to Student council members and fest and other cultaral activities winners.
Mr. Syed Shahed Hashmi (Educator at Unacademy, an online learning platform), who was present as a chief guest, shared some life experiences which were motivational. He addressed the students about life, career and the world around them. He said, "Qualification itself is not enough, now you need to have qualification with skills if you need a good job in this competitive world. The students must acquire the art of diplomacy."
He also stated that the students must have the knowledge about the current affairs because we must be aware of the world in which we live in. He also addressed to the students that they must realise and try to fulfil the duties they have towards their parents, teachers and the society.
Janab Abdul Rahim Jukaku (President, AHM, Bhatkal), who was presiding over the function said that education is a continuous and never ending process because we all have something or the other to learn. He further stated that we must try to learn from anyone and everyone we meet in our day to day life because sometimes experience is more important than qualification. "Instead of complaining about the lack of social facilities, we must take the responsibility and join civil services", he added.
AIMCA principal, Mohammed Mohsin K, presented the annual report which consisted of all the achievements with regard to the academic year 2016-17.
Chief guest was introduced by BCA final year student Naiz Ahmed and feedback was given by various students.
The program commenced with a introduction by host Anzaf Damudi and Jareer Shoupa, followed by Qirat from BBA final year student Kabeer. Invocation was done by Shuraim from BBA 1st year followed by a welcome speech by Elaf Ekkeri from BCA final year. Vote of thanks was delivered by BBA final year student Arfath Gangavali.
Siddique Ismail, General Secretary, AHM, Bhatkal, was also present on the dais.
