Eid-milan party held for teachers in Shams school Bhatkal

Bhatkal: The Eid-milan party which was jointly organised by All India Ideal Teachers Association (AIITA), Tarbiyat Education Society and Jamat-e-Islami-Hind was held for the teaching staff of various schools at Shams school on Monday.

Talking on the occasion taluk Unit President of Kannada Sahitya Parishat Gangadhar Naik opined that the tradition of inviting a Muslim family for ‘Rathotsava’ of Chennapattana Hanuman temple shows the harmony between Hindus and Muslims. He said the entire world is filled with controversies and disagreements, but Indians are still living in brotherhood.

Bhatkal Block Education officer Venkatesh Patgar called upon teachers to work for the development of society by working for students progress. Presiding over the function Jamat-e-Islam-Hind’s Mangaluru Unit Secretary Mohammed Ishaque Puttur said Islam is not a new religion but the Prophet Mohammed(Peace be upon him) was sent as the last messenger to complete Islam.

President of Anjuman Hami-e-Muslimeen Abdul Rahim Jukaku, Principal of Jnaneshwari Degree College R Narasimhamurthy and President of AIITA M R Manvi also spoke on the occasion. MB Naik, Shreedhar Jambarmath, AB Madival, Mujahid Mustafa among many others were present.
