Bhatkal Anjuman College celebrates 49th Annual day

Bhatkal: Anjuman Degree College and PG Center, celebrated its 49th Annual day gathering, today 23rd April at Anjuman College campus, Bhatkal during which brilliant students were awarded.

Syed Nabhan was awarded with best outgoing student and also best NSS candidate, where as Divya Prabhu as best outgoing student, Mohammed Sharif was honored for ranking 3rd in KUD university, Afnan Kola as most versatile student and Abdul Badi declared as sports champion.

Mr and Ms punctual were also awarded and toppers of each semester, best NCC candidate, students who scored 100 marks in any subject and awards were also given to best sports players and various winners of literary competitions held in college.

Taluka health officer, Haliyal, Dr. Shaukath Azim who was present as a chief guest, praised Anjuman for its role in providing good education to students in Bhatkal. He also addressed the students about the generation gap between the professors and the students, describing it in a very beautiful way.

Professor of Sociology, KUD, Dr. Mohammed Saleem Ilkal who was present as a guest of honour showered his knowledge about various topics such as malnutrition and also motivated them with a inspiring story of his own mother who went on for her dreams even after facing difficulties.

University blues Mr. Nasif Ahmed, Syed Abdul Badi and Naveed Ahmed were felicitated by the chief guests.

Anjuman Degree College Prof. M K Shaikh presented the Annual report and Anjuman president Jukaku Abdul Rahim presided over the function. 

The program commenced with recitation of the Holy Quran by student Hassan Kazia followed by the welcome speech by Prof. M M Malik. College students Nooh Mohtesham and Muhaimin Sada introduced the guests, while Nazeef Manegar sang a ghazal and finally Divya Prabhu proposed the vote of thanks.

College board secretary Javid Hussain Armar, and Vice Principal of Anjuman Degree College Prof. Saheel Ahmed Muzawar were also present on the dais.
