Sirsi: Two youngsters were injured in an accident that took place at Zoo Circle in Sirsi on Friday evening. 

Anant Hegde of Negar in Sirsi taluk who was riding the bike sustained severe injuries while Manoj Hegde (19) who was riding pillion on the bike escaped with minor injuries.

The accident took place when both the vehicles collided head-on.

The car driver, who is suspected to be from Mundgod, absconded leaving the car at the accident spot itself.
