2 young women missing in Mangalore, Moodbidri

Mangalore: Two young women have gone missing in a two separate cases in Mangalore and Moodbidri, after which the missing complaints have been filed by their respective family members.

In a first incident, a young woman has been identified as Rekha (26), a resident of Padil has been who have gone missing since 23rd January.

sources say that,  she had left her  home on 23rd January, saying that she would be visiting the Home Guards Office at Mary Hill to discuss matters pertaining to the reimbursement of her medical bills. However, she never returned home till todays date. It has been gathered that she had recently underwent treatment at a hospital owing to illness.


Kavoor police are investigating this  case.

In another case, a missing victim, 
identified as Shanthipriya D’Souza (28) of Ranger Kodi in Puchhamogaru village near Moodbidri since 26th January. In this issue, a missing complain have been sentenced by her brother Arun D'Souza.The woman had gone missing when Arun had been out  to a shop on 26th January.

Briefing about the woman, she is dark complexioned, 5.5 feet in height and has long hair. She is well-known for speaking Kannada, Tulu and Konkani.
