Bhatkal: The 18-year-old girl, who got infected with novel Coronavirus in Bhatkal on Tuesday, has been shifted to the newly established Corona ward at Karwar Institute of Medical Science (KIMS), today on Thursday evening.

Until the previous case that reported on April 14, the Corona patients were treated at Patanjali hospital in Karwar. Thereafter, a special ward was established at KIMS hospital in Karwar in wake of any further new cases in the district. 

According to the sources, any further cases of Coronavirus reports in the district, including the existing one, will be treated in this hospital.
