Kumta: To enhance the sportsmanship spirit among the youths of Kumta, a new sports organization 'Karavali Sport Club' was launched with a brief inaugural ceremony at Eidgah ground in Kumta on Wednesday. The ceremony took place soon after Fajr prayers, which was attended by the Islamic scholars and members of Jamaatul Muslimeen Kumta and Al Ittihad Youth Committee Kumta.
President of Karavali Sports Club, Mr. Naseer Kotebagil, briefly explaining on this occasion, said, the club aims at motivating sports enthusiasts by enhancing their talent in the particular sport. As of now, the club has already begun coaching of leather ball Cricket, wherein players are interestingly attending the coaching sessions. We aim at taking our players to the next level by continuously training and motivating them towards the sports, Mr Naseer said.
On this occasion, Khateeb of Kumta Jamia Masjid Maulana Minnatullah Qasmi, General Secretary of Kumta Jamaatul Muslimeen Muhammad Mohsin Quazi, Al-Ittihad Youth Committee Gulf wing member Mohammad Arif, and social worker Amjad Shaikh too expressed their views and congratulated the management of the club for bringing in the outstanding initiative.
Mohammad Aqueel Quazi, Saleem Quazi, Iftiqar Shaikh, Amjad Mali and many others were present on the diaz.
